Ryan Szpiech
Ryan Szpiech is Associate Professor of Spanish and Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan. He is the author of Conversion and Narrative: Reading and Religious Authority in Medieval Polemic (UPenn, 2013) and has published widely on medieval religion, literature, and language. He recently completed a documentary film about translation in medieval Spain entitled “The Birth of Spanish in 3D.” Contact him at szpiech@umich.edu
